How do I choose the right service?+
Boarding is overnight care in a caregiver’s home; house sitting happens in yours. Drop-ins cover shorter home visits, while day care and walking support daytime routines.
What happens if my caregiver cancels?+
We surface compatible replacement care and show any price difference before you approve it. You can also choose the refund available under your cancellation terms.
Can a different person provide care?+
Not without your explicit approval. A substitute must have completed their own verification and be named in the booking first.
What does Pawly Protection exclude?+
Routine care, pre-existing conditions, undisclosed needs, and off-platform care are excluded. Current terms and deductibles appear before payment.
How are disputes reviewed?+
Human reviewers consider care cards, messages, media status, veterinary records, GPS confidence, and statements from both parties.

What checks are required to join?+
Identity, address, criminal screening, references, and profile review are required. Specialist badges need separate credential verification.
Will declining a poor fit hurt my ranking?+
No. Declining an unsafe or incompatible request is not penalized. Ranking uses fit, quality, availability confidence, distance, and response reliability.
How do capacity limits work?+
You set a safe maximum for each service. Active bookings count against that limit so the platform can block overcrowding.
When can I start accepting bookings?+
Your profile stays inactive until required checks and Pawly’s trust review are complete. An invitation or pending report is not approval.
How are fees and payouts shown?+
The caregiver rate, Pawly fee, expected payout, and payout timing are shown before you accept. Optional tools never buy higher ranking.
